Positive Post Tuesday– Erin
May 7, 2008 by 6justmyopinion
This is Erin , here with Trinity. Yes, they look very much alike. Incredibly.
I asked the Lord this am, who would He want me to “positive Post Tuesday”. There was a clear answer. Erin.
She was my first born, any mother knows what that means. The one everything is new on. First flutters of life, first fears of delivery, first overpowering love at first sight. I never dreamed I could love anything as much as I did her. I knew she was beautiful at the very beginning. I could not wait to see her hands and toes. How did God do that? I didn’t even know the Lord then, but I believe He was teaching me then His love.
As she grew, she was most like me, emotional,,,strong willed, (I thought, until Brody came along!) She was quick tempered and deep. She was loving, protective especially over her little brother. She cared so deeply about animals, the homeless and had a strong feeling of wanting to help less fortunate or the lost.
Teen years, were just that. She cared more for the social aspect of school more that school to learn. Exactly like me. She was happy, and loved being there, because thats where her friends were. We had our ups and downs.
Once she married Harold, and became a wife and mother she blossomed. Erin can decide to try anything and make it work. She wanted to be a photographer and has done may weddings. She is talented and imaginative. Then she decided to go to school and be a Dental Assistant. She graduated, made more friends and started working for the Pediatric Dentist in town. She did this all with being married to a man who has more energy than 10 horses and two children. Once she found she was pregnant with Zion, she had to quit the Dentist, but after about 2 years..she decided to coach Volleyball to Freshman girls. She has done great. She is talented in all she tries. The only thing, I can say that she isn’t that good at it …(sorry, babe..) cooking. That’s only because she really hates it, though.
Erin and Harold bought the house we raised the kids in. She was attached to it. She changed it and made it her own. I loved that. With her children, now she is very creative and capable to help them excel.
To Mike and I, she is a joy. She helps now in the office for our business. She shares very generously her children, and we are very grateful.
It is easy to write who Erin is, it is hard for me, who is never at a loss for words, to explain how I feel. She is the first to make me smile and the first to make me cry. When I think of her, I picture her, right there, so close to my heart. I want only the best for her, as every mother does for their child. i cannot imagine being more proud of her. She is loving, consistent, smart, faithful, creative, passionate, anf beautiful. We are blessed. I love you, Erin.
Proverbs 23:25– May your father and mother be glad; may she who gave birth to you rejoice.
